Development & Direction of The Movement

Workshop Descriptions:

Lo-Fi Screen Printing - We will discover how to make simple silkscreens using low-cost, readily-available materials.  Make screens and prints to take home!  Experiment!  Work outdoors in a scenic backyard coneniently located on the other side of town!  There will be some discussion of how to make your own inks, too, if peeps are into that sort of thing ... as well as an opportunity to eat lunch.  We like snacks around here.  This workshop will be held at the 5001 Indiana house.

Open Screen Print - Using screens we make earlier in the day, plus blocks and screens we just happen to have around, print on paper and fabric to make posters, patches, and more.  If folks want to dip stuff in natural dyes to make pretty colors, that's cool too.  This session will be held at the 5001 Indiana house.

DIY Composting for radical sustainability: Basic how-to on composting, building awesome garden soil and why you should in the first place. Hands on workshop (you might get a little dirty :-)
